INGREDIENTS:

  • CARNE SECA LEAD FOODS - 500 g
  • Potatoes - 10 (5 lbs)
  • Butter - 1/2 lb
  • Mozarella Cheese - 300 g
  • Parmesan Cheese - 100 g
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Your choice of oil
  • Chopped Onions - 2

For Topping and Bottom:

Peel and cut the potatoes. In a large pan, cook in boiling water for 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain the water. Add butter, half of the parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Mash it until completely blended. Let cool.

For the Filling: Prepare Carne Seca Lead Foods as instructed on the back label. In a pan, fry onions with oil until golden. Add the shredded Carne Seca. Fry until slightly darker. Let cool.

Assembling: Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200º C). In a casserole dish, place one layer of mashed potatoes, on the bottom, then cover with half of mozzarella cheese. Place a layer of filling. Cover with another layer of mashed potatoes. Finish with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Spread grated parmesan cheese on top. Bake on the bottom rack of the oven for 40 minutes, or until the cheese layer is golden.
